These people are doing their absolute best to end this war before the goals are complete, while maneuvering to lay all the blame for the loss at GWB and the GOP's feet.

Here we have liberals accepting that democracy has no chance in Iraq, that splitting the country would have been preferable, and demeaning the Iraqis that are dying on a daily basis. They have accepted that having Saddam in power would have been preferable.

How can they ignore the election in January, the drafting of a constitution from scratch, the vote to endorse the constitution, and the vote scheduled to staff the new government?

How can anyone ignore the glaring differences between the VIetnam war and era, and this war and era? Are they blind to the worldwide radical Muslim threat?

These foolish people on the liberal side of the debate and in the mainstream media are going to continue to suffer decline because their positions are unsupportable.

Glaring omissions and outright lies no longer are safe in this new media world or a world permeated by terrorists. With garbage like this aired on the premier sunday talk show, it is a wonder that the President's numbers are not lower.

Thank goodness that GWB is not poll driven.

If Lugar is Howdy-Doody...Levin must be Mr. Bluster...and I guess that makes Juan Williams...Clarabell! Mara can be Princess Summerfall Winterspring and Brit is the Buffalo Bob type.

Was there a Juan smack-down? I'd hate to hear there wasn't at least ONE on FNS today.

Low moral at NBC? Well deserved, IMHO.

ABC too has something interesting. Linda Douglass of ABC news was fired (or allowed to resign as they spin) from Next month. Remember schiavo-memo? It was supposedly written & distributed by republican senator (Mel Martinez) which turned out to be FALSE and Linda got that spin from Hayy Reid's staff & repeated it live. Disney people feared Florida senator naturally for unfair smear. Linda is now out.
P.S.: She says she will write a book ABOUT her ABC life.

Gregory lives in the same DNC fantasy-world as Mathews... Russert... Greenspan... er, Mitchell.

The news is nothing more than fodder to be spun into pure, DNC-Bullsh_t.

It would except that the GOP base will not support McCain and candidates have to win their primaries to be the candidate.

Only six had time to actually read the intelligence reports!

And what did those senators say in the debate over the war resolution, and how did they vote?

This deserves it's own thread! Didn't Rockefeller say on Tony Snow that he didn't have time to read the reports?

Not really, Juan was under control today. The adults let him speak but mostly ignored him.

I am convinced that the MSM and dems blinded by their hatred for President Bush are adamant that they will deny him a victory and therefore a legacy in Iraq, no matter what the cost to the country and the world. I wonder also how much of this is fed behind the scenes by Bill Clinton's bitterness. He, who's legacy will forever be a stained blue dress.

"These people are doing their absolute best to end this war before the goals are complete....

A.Hun, you have crystalized it. The liberals will lie and make accusations with an eye toward the next election, not victory in the war!To my ears, they have changed the words to an old song which is now:
"tell new lies, but keep the old.....one is silver and the other's gold"

Levin just said that the Iraqis need to make changes in the constitution to bring on board the Sunni Arab MAJORITY.

What an idiot! And, as you stated, a wasted opportunity. The next time some high-level Republican makes that claim that they do indeed support the president, let's bring up this interview.

I'm tired of the democrats going full-throttle against President Bush, and milque-toast republicans unable to defend him at least. During the Clinton admin, there was no shortage of democrats willing to fall on swords for him. I'm really getting tired of this!

Miss Marple, please skewer Lugar for this!!!!

Levin would be Sandy Berger's twin brother, save for the phoney way he droops his glasses down behind his nostrils!

Thanks for the reminder! I was thinking ABC escaped some of the worst but they have to be included in the current mess of NO credibility. Old media certainly is living up to their name.
