"There's no natural condition that we know about in a really long time where the greenhouse gas levels were anywhere near what they are now. And these studies tell us that there's a strong relationship between temperature and greenhouse gases.
I guess maybe they should look back a bit further, like maybe those times before the artic ice was formed....but that's right, the earth is only 650,001 years old, right?

The only bubbles are those in the eco nuts brains...
I find it interesting that the enviros elevate evolution to a near-religion, but appear to think the earth should be immutable. How do they think all that evolution happened? Drastic climate change was going on long before man arrived on the scene.
"...signaling the impact of human activity on temperatures worldwide, researchers said."
And just how did these scientists ascertain that human activity is the culprit for this temperature rise?
Perhaps this could have something to do with the sun and heat, and cyclic natural heat increases.
Ya gotta wonder about people who go burrowing deep into the sediment of New Jersey.
Don Ho warned of this very thing many years ago.
Of course there is more Carbon Dioxide in the air today than before: nobody was popping beer tabs 650,000 years ago.
Only the scientific papers that can be portrayed as alarming get picked up by the MSM. The moderate ones never see the light of day.
All sea warming, and thus global warming, is caused by both underwater volcanic activity and solar cycles. There is nothing that all of mankind can do to either warm nor cool the oceans.

THE NEXT ICE AGE - NOW!

Greenland icecap growing thicker
- 20 Oct 2005 - Greenland 's ice-cap has thickened slightly in recent
years despite wide predictions of a thaw, scientists said today. Satellite
measurements show that more snowfall is thickening the ice-cap,
especially at high altitudes, according to the report in the journal Science.
"The overall ice thickness changes are ... approximately plus 5 cms
(1.9 inches) a year or 54 cms (21.26 inches) over 11 years," according
to the experts at Norwegian, Russian and U.S. institutes led by Ola
Johannessen at the Mohn Sverdrup center for Global Ocean Studies
and Operational Oceanography in Norway.
The article then blathers on about how this is consistent with
global warming.
The deception continues.

(This means that more than 90 percent of the world's glaciers are growing thicker while the media keeps yelling about the ones that are melting.)
Here's a note from Michael Jenkins, CPA: "I flew over southeastern Greenland in August, expecting to see lots of green coastline, with all the supposed melting we read about. Instead, it looked like the dead of winter to us, with ice everywhere, filling the valleys down to the seashore. Not a speck of green visible, on a clear day. No wonder the Vikings had to abandon their settlements." |
Excellent observation.
This research is ludicrous. Since ice is permeable, and comprised in part of oxygen, there's no way air inside of ice would remain inchanged for hundreds of thousands of years. People have got to be idiots to believe this crap.
Ping for the list.
