Invincible ignorance on parade.

It doesn't matter what he "feels", getting more firearms into the capable hands of the general public, slows, then reduces, crime; every time.

Turns out that vermin prefer to feed upon the weak, firearms scare said animals. It speaks the one and only language that all of these animals understand, the iron fist of raw FORCE.

No body ever raped a .38 .

You kinda wonder if he has any objective verifiable evidence to support his silly conclusions.

FACT: In Southern California, if you cal 911, you get put on hold for 15 or more minutes. By that time, your intruder will have killed you

I can confirm that response time for San Diego City PD. I heard banging and pounding on my front door at 1:30 AM. My dogs were going crazy and the pounding still didn't stop. I removed my .357 mag from the 5-button safe and called 911. Just over 15 minutes later I received a call from the PD dispatch. The officers arrived and found a very large dog pounding away at my front door. I returned the .357 to the safe, opened the door and thanked the officers for the response.

If the party pounding at the door had been a human burglar, the sequence of events may have turned out very differently. Still, the response was far too slow for me to discard the option of having my firearm at the ready if the intruder managed to get past the locked doors and dogs.

He lies.

(About concealed carry RESULTS (actual before-vs-after) crimes rates, kill rates, and assault rates. As do almost ALL liberals on almost EEVRY position they stake. Making "assumptions" about future "crime waves" while ignoring what really has happened after dozens of concealed carry laws HAVE been successful in defending innocent civilians.

And so, I wonder, is the writer REALLY a Racine police officer, or only PRETENDING to be statistically equal to some Racine police officer?

Leave it to Bushmaster to find a solution. I'm sure that it won't make the approved list for retail sale before the socialist gun grabbers pass a special bill to outlaw that model or direct Bill Lockyer to spew forth a bureaucratic prohibition. Nice try.

America is no longer the country it used to be. There are millions of people living in the U.S. from third world countries and elsewhere. These people come from a lower social, educational, economic and cultural level and cannot be trusted to carry a concealed gun.

The population of the U. S. is no longer one that has respect for law and order and for individual responsibility. As a civilization we have gone back into the past. It's called multiculturalism.

Such a populace must be ruled by iron police-state laws and given no room for making individual judgments.

Only those Americans who can show citizenship, and pass a strict means test that shows high repute should be allowed to carry.

Sad but true.

I strongly support the ability for people to defend themselves, but I don’t believe that carrying a concealed firearm is the only way to accomplish this.

SO WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST OFFICER???? Another idiot who understands better than I on how to defend myself. It's always nice when someone suggests the above but provides no answer how how I should accomplish this task. Perhaps I should dial 911 while peeing on the nice criminal? Idiot!!

An armed society is a polite society. Ive heard more than once that more women in Texas carry than any other state. Texas also has the lowest rates on assault on women.

I have carried concealed since 1995....in Texas.

Haven't had to shoot one human being as of today...hope I never have to...

I will not cower and beg for my life or that of my family.....I WILL DEFEND MY LOVED ONES.....

I did have to expose it to a drug-crazed attacker swinging a baseball bat at me in a mall parking lot at night...but never had to touch or remove it from my holster....

He seemed to understand that I was unimpressed with his Babe Ruth impersonation.....

This guy is entitled to his opinion. If carrying weapons concealed is a bad idea, they can start by enacting policies at the police department to disarm off-duty cops. After all, if concealed carry doesn't prevent crime, there's no need for cops to carry off duty, is there?

Dang, that shoe sure pinches when it's on the other foot...

At the same time, I can't help but wonder why so much hatred and invective posting comes from supposed conservative message boards for the Police.

Experience?
