"Present" is how one records a "No Vote" without appearing not to have been in congress for the vote. It's use as such goes back to the beginnings of Congress.

I think each and every poster on FR should post a new thread stating his opinion on the debate. This way, instead of having only a few threads with hundreds of posts each (ie, discussion threads), we will have hundreds of threads, each with two comments. One the important opinion, and two, the complaint about vanity posts.

IMHO they would start off with not wanting to be pinned down and say ''Well don't use the word lied, he misled us, then they would change that to ''he fooled us,'' then'' we got duped,'' then'' we were brainwashed,''then we didn't understand.
