The House is voting on the "Immediate Troop Withdrawal From Iraq Resolution - 571:
Demonrats:
Yea = 3
present = 6
Nay = 157
Republicans:
Yea = ZERO
Nay = 215
and no one voting present.
This is the final count at 8:33p.m.
Didn't get any last night?
More people will see this than post # 17 million on the ongoing thread.
Thanks for posting this, I have kept my eyes peeled.
"Present" is how one records a "No Vote" without appearing not to have been in congress for the vote. It's use as such goes back to the beginnings of Congress.
Take it up with this guy:
Le ZOTTE: My very IMPORTANT opinion on tonight's debate. VERY IMPORTANT BREAKING NEWS VANITY! MAYO

NO ONE ELSE THOUGHT OF THIS SO IT DESERVES A THREAD OF ITS OWN!
I think each and every poster on FR should post a new thread stating his opinion on the debate. This way, instead of having only a few threads with hundreds of posts each (ie, discussion threads), we will have hundreds of threads, each with two comments. One the important opinion, and two, the complaint about vanity posts.
Let's hope so.
A good move by Hastert by forcing a vote!
"Yea."
"No, nay."
"I actually did vote for the resolution, before I voted against it."
I doubt that.
Most people who use the forum for more than a day have been able to grasp the concept of going to the END of an ongoing thread and finding out what they need to know.
As you can see, I said "most."
I want to know who the 2 Republicans that had voted 'yea' before changing to 'nay' and who did the ass kicking to persuade these RINOs to change their vote...
DITTO
But...but...how will they get to see their vanity posts in the FR spotlight and bask in the tenth-of-a-second orgasm when they see the thread? :-)
(Sally Field) "You FReepers like me. You really, really like me."
So is that the final count (372-3-6)?
Thanks for posting this. I was wondering how the vote went down because I missed the TV coverage.
:-)
And you forgot the most important part: disparage the people who point out the error of their ways! They love doing that.
"Some people do not want to search through 7000 posts looking for the vote results."
I heard that! The results and grand total deserve a new thread, IMO.
The media lies and misleads every day yet you never see the left complain about it. The media deliberately misled the public throught 2004 in order to try to sway the election for Kerry (the phony draft, phony poll numbers, and phony national guard memos among them).
LOL @ your tagline. Did Murtha really say that?
Settle down, its the weekend.
Not many are as perfect as you ;-)
I'm not perfect; I just make it a point to try to be polite to the rest of the forum and search.
I wonder where they really stand?
