I agree with you. I was waiting all week for them to join the fray and stand up for the troops and president, but saw nothing. Just fear of democrats.

Murtha did not vote yea for his own beef?
Rabid moonbats meticulously spun this as a vote on Hunter's resolution.
Murtha and Hunter both voted No. What scumbags

Can someone explain to me why this vote is a political stunt, but Murtha calling for it isnt?
I'd love to see you on little Chrissy Matthews' show giving that line to him. It's a good one.
To: Wild Irish Rogue
Catching PBS, they are all talking about Presidential low ratings, but none are speaking about the fact that the Democrat ratings are even lower.

Need a link to the 'exact' wording in Murtha's orginal amendment.
Thanks.

McKinney isn't a shock.... she is an embarassment.

The chair guy did the "To what does the gent fron penn rise?", and as Weldon approached the chair he said something like "I would like this Able Danger (info...couldn't hear exactly) inserted into the record" and then handed the chair or secretary a folder....wish I had recorded that part....
To: freema
I wish someone would strap Pelosi in a chair and make her watch her "speech" on the floor tonight...over and over and over...
It was horrible.

If you read the posts at DU, it's really indicative of the mindset. These people are REAL COMMUNISTS. Pelosi voted NO because she had to. They want the war over, but they want COMMUNISM ten, a hundred, a thousand, a million times more. Voting for "cut and run" would have destroyed their credibility on protecting the US and would have set back their goals for a Communist U.S.A. for decades. Except for the noise around the edges, the vote was a foregone conclusion, with the purpose to get the Dems to shut up on the "bring the troops home now" issue. The war on Communism still rages on...

If the Dems believed there call for troops to be withdrawn, then why did they not vote for it?
To: A CA Guy
LOL...I threw that back at a liberal friend of mine this week. No answer from him.

Tell National Review, I'll tell them too, to GROW UP AND GET A SPINE. :-)I've just about had it with National Review. Even before the Miers fiasco they had started getting negative, but their negativity and anti-Bush sentiment has seemed to explode after that. Even the Alito nomination hasn't satisfied them. They seem very much like fair weather friends; perfectly happy to stand behind Bush and the GOP when times are good, but the first ones running off the field when trouble starts.
