I think we all ought to reserve judgment here on Linder, to see if this is some procedural necessity and if Linder was the designated Pub to vote yea because of it. If this turns out not to be the case, then we rip him to pieces; but I want to hear the "why" of his vote before I condemn. He's just a totally odd yes vote, and it doesn't make sense that he would want to be the one Pub who voted yea. Never heard of him speaking out against the war before. Has anyone else?
To: ohioWfan
Good to hear. I wonder if they just accidentally hit the wrong button. It is late there.

I'm glad he changed his vote. I flipped the channel to a basketball game and didn't see the erasure of his vote.

I was about to say, Linder just made a mistake throwing the switch.
Linder is not about to vote YEA, from Georgia, half the state is a MILITARY BASE!

For the record... Rep. John Murtha stated on the House floor tonight: "Our troops have become the enemy"He means that the troops are the enemy in the eyes of the Iraqis. This is where he's wrong. They are the enemies of the insurgents and terrorists -- many of whom are not Iraqis, like Zarqawi.
Well, whatever he "meant"... I sure hope the GOP uses that quote to its full advantage, whether in context or not (they won't, though). You just KNOW how the RATs love to do that... and they get away with it.

Nope, he was the go-to-guy to provide the Rats with cover when they POTUS and VPOTUS started making points against them. By the way, Murtha is owned by the Heinz-Kerrys. He was very tight with Jack Heinz before he died and is still tight with Mama T.
