Hello,
I was born in Dallas, only lived there for a short while. You are correct, tonight we are all Texans.
Glad to be here, MOgirl

So true,
Listening to the DIMS call in is sad....They sound like foolish and petty old teenagers....

I agree. He seems like a fine and decent man but he has clearly lost the will to fight. I'm sure seeing all the horrors of war and the wounded troops has clouded his vision of the bigger picture.

They won't answer that, their only concern is that they are afraid of President Bush being successful and they are afraid of being out of power for years to come. The RATS are afraid of real leaders because they do not have any on their side of the Isle, so our troops victory is simply expendable in their view.
This is all about the Democrats out of power, NOTHING ELSE

And he ALWAYS votes with the Dems.
Paul ran as BIG "L" Libertarian and couldn't get voted dog catcher. Then, he ran as a GOPer and won and keeps winning. But he is always and ever on the side of the Dems.
To: CharlesWayneCT
The Dems will spin that this wasn't a vote on Murtha's resolution. Technically they are correct but people will know better.

First they had a woman on the Rep line saying it's wrong to be in the war, now a Rep is calling on the Others line, so why bother with lines?

Hahahaha. Now let's see the Dems go to Moveon.org and their left wing constituents and explain their vote. This humors me to no end.

This caller is frightening. Yeah, it's the real "cream of the crop" out of the intellectual side of the gene pool, eh.
These people speak as if they're trying to sound intellectually elite. Yet they only demonstrate their sheer and utter ignorance in many ways. It'd be comical if we didn't know so many people in this country thought the same way.
To: goldstategop
why are they allow to not vote

C-SPAN is taking calls (202)585-3886 Support Pres. Bush
Due to callers from du and moveon.org and now network difficulties... try your call again, when you can call on the dimocrat line.

That spinless so-called use to be republicans that called after! Real winner that one1
To: Ed_in_NJ
I quit C-Span back in 1992. They couldn't allow conservatives to call without restrictions so they had separate lines for Republicans and Democrats. I hate them.

The dem callers all want to pull out immediately. Murtha's own district has a majority saying pull out immediately.
But none of the democrats will vote to do that. Their voters won't complain about that either, I imagine.
To: Mo1
I am not kidding here...those "letters" that Murtha was reading sounded just like MOVEON.ORG letters...

Present means they don't have the balls to actually cast a recorded vote but still want to collect their per diem.
