Thank your son for his service! I'm so proud of our Marine Corps, it makes me hopeful for our country. He just graduated from Boot Camp on October 7. He graduated from MCT on November 8. Scheduled for Crew Chief School and Recruit Assistance.

Maybe we would be better off just giving up on this experiment and going our seperate ways.
I mean, if 40+ percent of the nation consistently votes for a political party that runs on a platform that can best be summarized as "We're Against America!", then what's the point?
How can we come to a consensus with people who think America is a "Right Wing Christian Fascist" nation ran by Hallibutron and the Illumaniti?

I'm willing to give Murtha the benefit of the doubt and suspect his statement was the result of advancing dementia.
Although the Senate may not be able to do it this quickly, anyone can offer a bill in the senate.
I would offer that Dems have said so many times (based on their almighty polls) that most people want to pull out of Iraq, it was wrong etc etc.
I think this was done in the House to show the representation side of this with a vote of something other than the 100 senators. More population based....
Col. Brown is doing a terrific job. I admire these men and women so much that it overwhelms me how modest they are when you talk with them.
