GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
Well said, precedence.
Does Murtha propose to withdraw U.S. troops (even though the new Iraqi government has asked us to stay) and leave the rest of the Coalition there? Hmmm? Or does he propose to tell the Coalition what to do? Clarify your motion, Mr. Murtha.
It certainly is. Murtha brought immediacy to the table.
Call your Rep's and urge them which way to vote. Especially if you are in a dem district. Try Google and you can get their sites with contact info. At least everyone try and send an e-mail
I'm so done with the limp-wrists in Congress. This is all just part of the pantomime.
Nothing the GOP does at this point can excite me.
Some of that Rove Stategery in action.
Except for that little fact that "things don't work that way"...it'd be forever tagged as a "Bush Administration" thing.
That's why I really did not want Gray Davis recalled here in California; he buttered his bread and he should have been the one to have to sleep in it. Now, this state's bankruptcy will be Arnold's fault by the media/'Rat reckoning.
Great idea, and we can look for the Dims and the MSM to call it a "stunt"...
I said that to my husband the minute this traitorous talk left Murtha's mouth.
I am very embarrassed that you would even consider pulling out of Iraq.
Zarqawi is expanding his base of operations and you, sir, would choose to cut and run. I will not. I have not seen two young men go off to fight this important war in vain. Your position is to represent all the people of your district, and you are not representing me or my family. There is a theorcratic regime on the march, colonizing, and trying to destroy Freedom. This regime knows no boundries and seaps into the pours of democratic countries.
Let me tell you what I fear and maybe you'll understand me better. I fear going into certain areas of Cleveland anymore. I will not go because, as a female, I am unwelcome. Did you pay attention when there was an Honor Killing right here in Cleveland? Did you pay attention when they found the radical imam right hear in Cleveland? Dennis, are you paying any attention to your own hometown? All of this is coming from a radical ME. WE were not in Iraq, Afghanastan etc. on 9/11.
We are in the right place to fight this crusade of Islam. Hussein was paying $25,000 to each Palistinian suicide bomber...that alone is supporting terrorism. Dennis. Please don't compromise my US freedom, we are fighting the good fight not only for us, but for the rest of the world.
permission granted
Sorry. I'm a "glass is half full" kinda a guy.
The idea came from JD Hayworth of AZ in a caucus, and most all of them cheered...
Source : Hannity from his "Capital Hill Sources"
Hayworth is about to be on Sean's show.....
They can call it a stunt but it is no less newsworthy than Murtha's comments yesterday.
Recall how many members used purple ink on their fingers in the State of the Union to show support for Iraqi voters. Others have worn other ribbons, etc. I think the GOP should get some pins or sticks that show a white flag with a big red X across it and says "No Surrender ot Terrorists" during the vote.
Agreed. Start rolling the cameras for the 2006 election commercials.
This is great. Next, have a vote on reparations.
EX-cellent!
LET FREEDOM RING!
LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW THAT TODAY IS THE DAY OF RECKONING!!!
What if pulling out gets more votes?
Secession - it might work the second time around! The two new "countries" could be called the RED and the DEAD.
