GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
hmmm.. well, i was thinking of something a bit more high tech
NASA Appropriations?
Huh?
Back to work for me. Ill see all yall around post 4000 or so....
Good. As I reasoned earlier, GOP leadership would not have called the procedural vote if they didn't have the votes... which is exactly why the RATS were in full meltdown.
Now, the RATS have to choose one of the following: alienate my base, or alienate the American people and American troops in harms way.
This is the last thing that the RATS wanted, regardless of what spin the MSM peddles. These idiots can thank Mr. Murtha for putting them in this squeeze.
Not even close. The moonbat side might get 40 or 50 votes.
Sure that wouldn't bother me any. Gender isn't an issue with me. Taking a stand and sticking to it as the stand you took is what I seek. Waffling has got to GO!
And I'm really, really hoping this is a watershed moment for our Republicans, and they'll finally understand that they have power.
He is acting as House Majority Leader, Hastert is still speaker.
" Even a Democrat can't be that stupid... can they?"
Why yes, yes they can.
From James Taranto, WSJ Best of the Web today.
"An exchange with Margaret Warner on last night's "NewsHour With Jim Lehrer," though, suggests that Murtha has simply taken leave of reality:
Warner: But may I ask you, sir, if you believe--[the president] says--for whatever reason, Iraq has become the center of terrorism - that if the U.S. appears to retreat in the face of that, that it will be a blow to the American fight against radical Islamic terrorism? What do you say to that?
Murtha: Well, I say that the fight against Americans began with Abu Ghraib. It began with the invasion of Iraq. That's when terrorism started. It didn't start when there was criticism of this administration. This administration doesn't want to listen to any ideas.
I call them "Bush butts", as in " I voted for Bush but..."
Hear them everywhere on radio and TV call in shows. Maybe a few are, but most are Democrats just trying to fake credibility.
Bwa-hahahahahaha. Got their birkenstocks in a bundle, did they?
what a fun friday PM this is turning out to be!
Gotcha -- you're right!!
A bill for Ralph Cramden to send the Democrats right to the moon!
Juvenile but it helps some with the angst.
What is going on? They are putting up all kinds of bills...what is going on? Surely they are not wimping out on the resolution that has us tuned in and on this live thread, are they?
thanks, Howlin.
Over here, guys and girls.
Later when?
.
Of course that doesn't sit well with CSPAN's agenda I suppose.
The Independent in the House is Bernie Sanders, the avowed Socialist from Vermont. He never used to be a Republican of any sort, and has always caucused with the Dems.
