BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) Suicide bombers killed 74 worshippers at two Shiite mosques near the Iranian border Friday, while a pair of car bombs targeting a Baghdad hotel housing Western journalists killed eight Iraqis.
The suicide attackers targeted the Sheik Murad mosque and the Khanaqin Grand Mosque in Khanaqin, 90 miles northeast of Baghdad, as dozens of people were attending Friday prayers, police said. The police command said 74 people were killed and 75 wounded in the largely Kurdish town.
At sunset, dozens of people were still searching the rubble of the three-story Khanaqin Grand Mosque. As the men dug, 12-year-old Sarkhel Akram collected copies of the Quran, the Muslim holy book, then she kissed them and put them away.

Allah must be proud today as his "followers" blow up his churches and kill worshipers in his churches
Mosques are not churches.

Could it be that more Muslims support what the terrorists are doing than Muslism who don't support such action?
Yes, Sunnis (the majority of Musslimes are Sunnis: 70%, nearly all Arabbs are Sunnis (andArabs are 25% of the Muslime world) as are nearly all Pakis, IndianMuslimes, Indonesians, Malaysians, North Africans etc.) while there are large Shia minorities in Saudia, Iraq and they are in a majority in Iran and Shia sects like the Allawis and Ismailis flourish in Jordan

Yes, as long as they belong to the other Sects -- both Sunnis and Shias consider the other to be worse than heretics.

NO! You want the Kurds who massacred the Armenians in the genocide to be rewarded? No. Let them become Armenian Orthodox first.

Same thing. Building where people worship. Different names, same purpose. Depends on the religion.

Strategically, a civil war in Iraq right now would not further our long-term goals there. And it would certainly give the political left both in the U.S. and abroad more grist for the mill than even their demagoguery could use.
On the other hand, it does appear that, like in Africa, the denizens of the Middle East excel at nothing better than killing each other in great big, bleeding batches. And when they are involved with each other in that manner it certainly keeps them from bothering us.
