An atheist who has spent years trying to ban recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools is now challenging the national motto printed on U.S. currency.

---Tell him to leave the country and live elsewhere or use checks. No one cares what HE wants.

Michael Newdow said Sunday that he planned to file a federal lawsuit this week asking for the removal of the national motto, "In God We Trust," from U.S. coins and dollar bills. He claims it's an unconstitutional endorsement of religion and "excludes people who don't believe in God."

----That works both ways, pal. It's unconstitutional for YOU to take OUR belief in God away as well. Bet you don't mind spending it when you want something.

Speaking of money .... I wonder how much this guy will make from this. Michael Newdow may become a professional law suit maker attacking every corner of America with God mentioned. He may make a name for himself and make allot of green paper with "In God We Trust" printed on them.

A doctor AND a lawyer. Okay, if you don't like your Federal Reserve Notes saying 'In God We Trust', send them all to me, and I will make sure they are properly disposed...

"It's not the history that counts. It's not the patriotism. What it is, is these people want to get their religious views in our government," he said.

You doofus, it's RELIGIOUS VIEWS that created our government!!
I think this guy thinks he's the next Madeline Murray O'Hare or something. Give it a break, Michael. Make money some other way.

If this jackass wants his money to not have "In God We Trust" on it, then I suggest he move somewhere that doesn't have such things on their currency.

Here's a start:
