Sony Pictures got upset about a "bad" word. They demanded it be taken out of the title of a movie. The word is "Muslim."
Give me a break. Do we have to be that sensitive? Or fearful?

Insert a couple of lesbian scenes and this may be approved by the ratings board.
I'm sure if it had "f^ck" in the title it would be ok.
what is a movie
John Stossel is looking to get his head cut off! ... Now that's comedy!
LOL! Didya see the way that head bounced? ROFLMAO!
GMTA...
*sigh*
>>he was concerned that, in the wake of 9/11, Americans hated even the word "Muslim." "A part of me always thought," Brooks said, "what are there, a billion-and-a-half Muslim people on this planet, and I never thought that all of them wanted us dead."
btw Brooks' real name (no joke) is Albert Einstein. His brother, Bob Einstein, is better known as Super Dave Osborne.
>>I never thought that all of them wanted us dead."
No, but the radical, Islamofascists hate Jews as much
as the Nazis did. They hate just about everyone who
isn't a Muslim, come to think of it.
Oh, Albert. You poor, misguided fool. Too late will you learn the folly of your Liberal thinking.
Are you really that offended?
No, but I'm not offended by the word "muslim" in a title either.
I'm sure if it had "fudge" in the title it would be ok.
If Albert Brooks thinks that his jokes can transform an Islamofacist into Mr. Rogers he must be smoking crack. The terrorist would be laughing his ass off while he cut Albert's head off with a dull knife.
I just flew in from Makkah and boy are my bombs tired...
I got a diamond ring for my wife, and Mohammed said "Pretty good trade"...

Sony goes on the list.
my husband and i rented our 66 ford anglia to the production company for this movie. we were anxious to see it in the theater. we were kind of upset when they returned it with a bunch of sand in it. it's ironic because it was still an untitled film and we only knew that brooks was starring in it. when we finally found out the title of the film, we had a chuckle and understood why it had all the sand in it....
Notice how they always try to cover each other's back...as it turned out, Newsweek really didn't create the setting up of these riots. See? So their fake reporting really had nothing to do with this. Trust us! Pffft!
"The call came shortly after a Newsweek story claimed that soldiers at Guantanamo Bay had flushed a Koran down the toilet, and rioting broke out in the Middle East. It turned out that the Newsweek story was wrong. They retracted it. And it turned out that the rioting may have been a previously planned anti-American demonstration that had nothing to do with Newsweek's story."
A dirty little secret in Hollywood is that a lot of movie funding comes from Middle East oil money.
I hate the word itself, and don't want to hear it. I'm glad they're yanking the word.
