While not a disastrous night for the GOP, it was clearly a bad one... On the contrary...I think it was disastrous.
And I am sorry to have snapped at you during all this. It was unfair of me and I regret it. The mess we have here is not your fault and it was wrong of me to take it out on you. My apologies.

A disappointing night for the national GOP, but not a disastrous one.
A very bad night for California -- assuming 75 loses. And even if 75 wins, it's still pretty bad.

No need to apologize, friend.
I share your frustration. For me, the loss of 73 is inexcusable. In fact, as I said, the fact that its so close is inexcusable.
Peace. We're on the same side. I'm sorry if I was rude to you, also.

Most conservatives IMO didn't even know it was a day to vote. I called several and they forgot.
The unions and Democrats spent millions ruining Arnold's popularity before these propositions ads even began to get going.
Arnold made the mistake of not fighting back early IMO.
That aside, I think the other side spent about 20% of a billion using effective bullsh#t to sway the few voters.
Then most of the union members and public employees did vote.
So, there was a lot to overcome IMO. Mostly 20% of a billion and a low turn out against most of the unions and government employees all voting.
So what next? Not a problem, send similar initiatives out there again for the next election and let the people get better educated about the real facts and let the unions and democrats spend themselves into bankruptcy fighting these things. That's what should be done IMO.
I think the next regular election will be easier to get things passed. Figure with more regular people voting in the 2006 elections, that unions and democrats could lose big time.
