Once more we are reminded never to underestimate the power or the campaign war chest of the unions. And it doesn't help that California voters are lazy simpletons. How could anyone vote themselves a tax increase?

The Prop 13 days are long gone here. Those were the good times. Now its up to the Democrats to clean up their own mess.

I can't help but wonder whether there are a lot of foreign, leftist voters in California now? I feel bad enough about Virginia not having a truly conservative party and being used as an example of 'conservatism failing'. But this California vote is a bad sign. Or is this a smack at Bush more than at Arnold? Or is this just money talking?

The dumb@sses in LA do it every time. They have never seen a school bond they didn't vote yes on. And what do we have to show for it? This could go on forever. The schools will continue to stink and the voters will continue to think more money will solve the problem. What a scam.
