I'm starting to feel better about LA!!! According to the LA Slimes, with 53%(!) reporting, 75 has a slight lead in LA County! This hasn't made it to the Sec. of State website.

LA and San Bernardino are still the stories.

Statewide - 49.5% reporting
LA County - 2.7% reporting
San Bernardino - 7.4% reporting.

I fear this is not good.

If there is any consolation, San Barnardino is also stuck at 7.6 percent.

I recently moved back to California, from Missouri, It took a few years to get rid of the rats in MO, used to live in San Diego, and Kern County. Listen folks don't loose heart. A defeat doesn't mean the end it means a beginning. I still believe 73& 75 will pass.

The two dems that were found guilty are to be housed at
the vert bar hotel. :-) Not there yet though.

There are two repos and possibly one more on the council.
The dems
are somewhat workable except leather face who will still
be on it. One of the dems I worked with when he was with
the Co. Attys. He sided with the previous repo mayor on
many issues.

I've posted this type of comment many times before. The Libs are superior at getting their message out. The Republicans are abysmal.

I think we could solve the abortion issue of everyone HAD to see a 3-D ultrasound of the baby in the womb. I listen to Rush every day on the internet out of Salt Lake City and they have a great shot of an invetro infant today on the cover page... anyone who hasn't seen one of these pictures needs to.

Santa Clara's only 25% in or so, which isn't good.

75 is sinking. 50.3 (yes) -- 49.7 (no)

Sigh.

Ummm...that 53% is for the state wide. At the moment, Prop. 75...statewide, is still leading. But narrowly then before.

BTW, Los Angeles has finally moved up to 8%. Still going to be a long night.

Go to latimes.com. LA county is voting slightly in favor of 75 right now, with 53% of precincts reporting.

I will never give up. Its not about always winning, you cant win everytime. We got Arnold in. Hopefully the Union dues prop will pass. Those two are good things. Costing the Unions gajillions of dollars will hurt them good for a while. Its a chessboard. This election was a few moves. Not the whole game. These things can take decades. And I simply will never give up ever.

FoR one, I don't like seeing him be so damn GReen, and then trying to portray himself as being for businesses and those who make living from harvesting earth's bounty. just my thought.

That 53% figure is statewide. LA County itself is still at 2.7%. LA will decide 75.

The state spending limit really isn't that big; CA will either have to borrow money at exorbitant rates and have their credit downgraded again, or will raise taxes and stifle the economy and send more companies elsewhere. The fact is, there are so many people who want to live here regardless of how bad it gets that it won't matter; they'll always be a group of rich elites who will get soaked to pay for it.

Los Angeles just dipped to 47.8% on 75... it's looking bad. The previous numbers were all absentee returns, the votes cast today seem to be a lot more liberal.

LA is going to end up at 45% on 75 or worse. I think it's over.

:(
