The description of snipers being cold blooded is not entirely accurate. Some people could take the view that sitting and wiating for your target is cold and calculating, but that is their job. These Marines only engaged once it was evident that hostile action was taking place. The jihadi's just made it easy for them. I am also sure that none of these Marines take great pleasure in the fact they took a fellow human's life. Once again it's their job, and it had to be done. What the Marines did take pleasure in is the fact that these rocket scientists will no longer be running around blowing people up!!!

Marines aren't cold blooded at all. They are exceptionally efficient at killing because EVERY Marine is a rifleman first and taught that only hits count. Once the firefight is over, they are quick to render aid to any injured non-combatant.

OTOH, the insurgents tend to be poorly trained and have little proficiency with their weapons.

According to a textual tabulation of worldwide IQ averages, Arabs are the dumbest, averaging a quotient of 80 (I didn't get to Persians and the book is $799.00). An American of average IQ, 101.5, can often detect a person of 80 IQ, so yeah, they are stupid.

Most have no combat experience and few have any military training whatsoever. The average educational level of most Islamic militants is a 6th grade education. Worse, for them anyway, is that Islamic culture spoils boy children such that their mothers and older sisters are **forbidden** from disciplining them and **compelled** to cook/clean/pamper them.

They are essentially saboteurs...the modern equivilent of civilians armed with small bombs...a poor setup for combat on an actual battlefield (as opposed to secret work in civilian areas). ...Saboteurs who come from soft families, poor or not, in which the boys can do no wrong and live a life pampered by enslaved women (e.g. mothers/sisters).

And then they are volunteering to go into combat regions against battle-hardened U.S. military forces which have vastly higher educational levels, vastly more military training, vastly more advanced military fighting gear/tech, and vastly more actual combat experience.

They are also outnumbered.

If you are familiar with Darwin's "Natural Selection" component of his evolutionary theory, then you can see it in play in the roach motel of Iraq as the war-minded idiots are being killed off en masse by our troops/forces.

This happened to France in the Great War (74% casualties from 1914 to 1918)...an attrition rate so great...and so concentrated amongst their warrior class...that it eventually changed the whole nature of French society from that of Napoleonic colonialistic empire building into a pansied culture of appeasement.

I think the person doesn`t understand that many of these insurgents don`t have a clue to what is going on. Many of them are fresh from Syria , Jordan , etc.. Or Iraqis sent to these areas to do these things. Most if not all haven`t seen any real newsprint, or TV news of what is actually going on.

I can assure you, this is patently UNTRUE....

Every "shooter" I've ever known were professionals that did their job, and were not in the least "cold blooded or detached from human emotions"...
Their blood was warm and sticky, like everyone else - and they experienced fear, horror and the jubilation of surviving like the rest of us..

They were simply more talented, better trained, more patient and possessed larger balls than most men.

But there is nonetheless something stomach-churning about the way terrorists are choosing to die in Ramadi. If I were a believer in Darwin's theory of evolution, I would say that the theory is in full swing with the terrorists in Iraq. When I was a youngster we shot quail like that.... locate a covey and shoot there heads off one by one using a 22 cal rifle with a home made silencer.(hope the statue of limitations has expired) They would stick around to watch the shot ones, trying to figure out what was wrong. We stopped when we missed or had enough for supper.
