Apparently he was after only the administration

Yep, sure looks that way.

I got in a little late due to a phone call.

General V didn't mince his words at all. He said his wife was with him when Wilson outed his wife.

General V said that there was another individual who Wilson outed his wife before the supposed outing.

Hopefully, Sean's site will post a transcript.

exactly right. a fair prosecutor would have shut down after determining that no crime had occurred.

A lawsuit on what grounds?

I would think Wilson might sue for defamation.

Vallely - along with Krauthammer - on the same show on FNC about a year or so ago, called Jesse Jackson stupid. Krauthammer did it diplomatically and the General just let him have it.

You mean Vallely's wife was with him in the green room when Wilson outed Plame, right? That's what I thought I heard too.

So LOL, I guess Wilson's weaselly incompetent arse of a lawyer might sue Mrs. Vallely too!

That's probably why Vallely doesn't want to name any more names -- anybody he mentions will get threats of being sued too.

He might, but regardless of what he sues for, we all know it's Vallely's word against Wilson's word. Empty threat, IOW. I'm sure Paul Vallely is shaking in his boots. ;-)

Well Fitzgerald blew it. He didn't find out who outed non-covert agent, Plame, so we need a new investigation.

his (Fitzgerald's) initial charge was to determine who leaked Plame's status

He has wasted a lot of taxpayer monies, and didn't even try to find out what he was directed to look for. He seemed focused only on Rove and Libby! I wonder why Porter Goss doesn't fire him immediately, and explain to him, in no uncertain terms, that the government will not support his failure to seek the truth about who allegedly 'outed' Valerie Plame.

Goss has no control over Fitzgerald. in fact, I still have yet to see a single post describing how DOJ could get rid of Fitzerald if they wanted to.

There's at least a quote from what is apparently Joe Wilson's email to his own lawyer in the first link from post #58 (strata-sphere blog)...

“This is slanderous,” Wilson wrote. “I never appeared on tv before at least July 2002 and only saw him maybe twice in the green room at FOX. Vallely is a retired general and this is a bald faced lie. Can we sue? This is not he said/he said, since I never laid eyes on him till several months after he alleges I spoke to him about my wife.”

"Can we sue?" Hahahaha! Do it, Joe, please do it! I can't wait for "discovery"!
