Some moonbat on "Coast to Coast" just speculated the rioting was retribution for France's rejection of the EU constitution under the control of the Bilderbergers and Illuminati. The "yoots" were mere pawns of Darker Forces of the New World Order....
No mention of Muslims in the entire article. A new low for the Times and an awful disservice to its readers.

I have been discussing this with my French colleagues and I kept asking them why they just don't shoot about twenty of those bastards. Their answer is enough to give you gray hair.
They said,
"If we start shooting them, outside groups will start smuggling them weapons and then we're all screwed."
Makes total sense if you think about it.

Had riots been occuring in the U.S. on 100th the scale, you would have endless wall-to-wall coverage on every U.S. media outlet and there would be calls for Bush's resignation.
What are the rioters in France going to do when the run out of cars to torch?
Gee, there's a clever idea! It only took them a week and a half the think of it, too.
It seems like the thugs are trying to top the # of cars they burn each night.

Hummmm....why would these "poor, disaffected youths" be burning down CHRISTIAN churches? Inquiring minds want to know...but the press doesn't.
I dont understand the total lack of coverage indicating any police action.
Are the riots so bad that the police is incapacitated?
The french need to call out the military right away in such a case. Dithering any longer is just plain criminal on the part of the govt.

What I find interesting is the confluence of media ignorance.
The police were not shot at with 'hunting rifles' they were shot with a birdshot loaded shotgun. Huge difference....and the reason that there were wounds rather than fatalities.
