Pleasee sign this petition opposing the "Crescent of Embrace" design being developed for the Flight 93 memorial. Despite vague comments by the designer and the Park Service, the design is going forward as yet unchanged.

We must, as US citizens oppose this travesty and make our voices heard. If enough of us do so, we will be successful as we were in opposing the Flag Raising Monument in January of 2002 that had been planned for the WTC Flag Raising.

It's NOT too late....this Petition can be effective in demonstrating how upset Americans are about the red crescent in the Flight 93 Memorial design.

Other petitons (like the one about the 'Three Firefighters Raising Old Glory" on 9-11-05) have been very successful in exerting influence.

I know how you feel my friend. But we are left to keep trying our hardest and fill the cup to whatever measrue we are capable, and then leave it to God and the heratfelt. conscientous, nd inspired actions of men and women of faith and reason to fill it brim full.

I know it this particular issue ever got aired on any national venue...then the signatures would flow in so rapidly we could not keep track of them. I will keep working and praying for that eventuality.

This must not occur...the very idea of each fall, around September 11th, during the fall of the year, for a red crescent to appear in the Pennsylvania countryside surrounding the Flight 93 crash site is an abomination to me and a very powerful (and for free people of the world, a very negative) symbolic representation that will encourage and embolden our enemies and shame us all.
