Either the jihadists really are crazy or they apparently think that they have a shot at destabilizing, or at least winning concessions from, the United States, Europe, India, and Russia all at once.

I'm votin' for crazy, Grampa Dave. But I also agree with other posters that have said this is a testing ground. Or, it could just be a bunch of clueless Islamic punks who just started something and it easily got out of control.

Do you think this was thoroughly planned and coordinated? I'm just asking, while I mull over the situation...
