BIGFOOT TO JOIN THE CAST OF 'THE SOPRANOS'

By MARK MILLER
Los Angeles, Calif.

ALL of Hollywood is abuzz with the incredible rumor that an actual Bigfoot will join the cast of the hit HBO series The Sopranos playing a mob boss called Biggy the Foot.

A reliable inside source reveals that execs have their hearts set on the recently proposed idea.

"It's the perfect choice for a number of reasons," states the source. "First, no one's ever used a Bigfoot before to play a fictitious character on a high-profile TV series. Since people associate Bigfoot with size, strength, power and ruthlessness, it's ideal because those are the same qualities associated with Mob bosses."

Weekly World News has acquired a copy of the script, in which Biggy the Foot arrives in New Jersey to challenge Tony Soprano's power and position. There is also a romantic sub-plot in which Biggy the Foot seduces Tony's wife, Carmela, when Tony is away at the Bada Bing nightclub. As Carmela melts into his arms, he growls, "Once you've tried Biggy the Foot, you can never go back." Later, Tony confronts Carmella, screaming at her, "What is it -- I'm not @#*$%& hairy enough for you!?"

In another powerful scene, Tony and Biggy the Foot meet for the first time:

Tony: What is it you want, Biggy, you fat @#*$%&!?

Biggy: You know what I want, Soprano. I want your territory, your house, your wife, and your daughter. You can keep your @#*$%& son.

Tony: (DRAWING GUN) You want the first bullet through your head or through your @#*$%& @#*$%&!?

Although the Bigfoot is a relative newcomer to dramatic TV roles, he is by no means a newcomer to show business. His resume includes years of work in community theater. He has also worked as a street musician, a mime at several Renaissance Fairs, a fire-eater and as a juggler for spare change in the park.

In preparation for his first major dramatic role, Bigfoot has been studying with famed Hollywood acting coach Miles Duvalier. He is also watching many classic gangster films, studying the stars' techniques.

"I especially admire the early work of George Raft, Edward G. Robinson, and Humphrey Bogart," reveals the Bigfoot. "And more recently, I learned a lot from observing Brando in The Godfather and Pacino in Scarface."

As this next season will most likely be the final one for The Sopranos, there is talk of spinning Bigfoot off into his own series. "I'd love to do something light -- perhaps a sitcom," the Bigfoot confides. "Maybe one where I play the dad. And if Kirstie Alley is available to play my wife -- she's the perfect size for me."

GOD CREATED CHILDREN (AND IN THE PROCESS GRANDCHILDREN)

To those of us who have children in our lives, whether they are our own, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or students...here is something to make you chuckle.  Whenever your children are out of control, you can take comfort from the thought that even God's omnipotence did not extend
to His own children.

After creating heaven and earth, God created Adam and Eve. And the first thing he said was "DON'T!"

"Don't what?" Adam replied.

"Don't eat the forbidden fruit."  God said.

"Forbidden fruit? We have forbidden fruit? Hey Eve...we have forbidden fruit!!!!!"

"No Way!"

"Yes way!"

"Do NOT eat the fruit!" said God.

"Why"

"Because I am your Father and I said so!" God replied, wondering why He hadn't stopped creation after making the elephants.

A few minutes later, God saw His children having an apple break and He was angry! "Didn't I
tell you not to eat the fruit?" God asked.

"Uh huh," Adam replied.

"Then why did you?" said the Father.

"I don't know," said Eve.

"She started it!" Adam said

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"DID NOT!"

Having had it with the two of them, God's punishment was that Adam and Eve should have children of their own. Thus the pattern was set and it has never changed.

BUT THERE IS REASSURANCE IN THE STORY! If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give children wisdom and they haven't taken it, don't be hard on yourself. If God had trouble raising children, what makes you think it would be a piece of cake for you?

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT!
1. You spend the first two years of their life teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

2. Grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your own children.

3. Mothers of teens now know why some animals eat their young.

4. Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

5. The main purpose of holding children's parties is to remind yourself that there are children more awful than your own.

6. We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

ADVICE FOR THE DAY:
Be nice to your kids. They will choose your nursing home one day.

AND FINALLY:
IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF TENSION AND YOU GET A HEADACHE, DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE ASPIRIN BOTTLE:

"TAKE TWO ASPIRIN" AND "KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN"!!!!!
