Strawman. Based on the admittedly very limited info released so far, were I on the jury I'd be ticked at Libby for appearing to mislead. Enough to indict? I dunno.
Look, sometimes someone on our side does wrong. That may (or may not) have happened here. Just because the left is dirty and corrupt beyond belief doesn't mean that I should look the other way on this. It just makes me angry and more committed to pursuing justice through the ballot box, grass roots, and embarrassing the liberal office blowhards with facts to refute their lies.
What's more, the perjury charge is apparently based *only* on Libby's answer to a grand jury question.
We are enabling selective prosecution with that attitude. Only after the left has been convicted of the stuff they do.
Otherwise we look worse for less given the 'conviction rate'
You make a good point. We should not be making excuses for Libby if indeed he lied to this Grand Jury. If it was wrong for Slicky Will to commit perjury, then it's wrong for our side. If it is proven that Libby lied then he should pay for it with jail time!
