The only "direction" Fitzgerald cares about is his road to becoming Attorney General for the next Democrat President (at least in his dreams).
The man is obviously a career whore and will destroy anyone that suits his advancement no matter how ridiculous the charge or circumstances.

Give direction?
Son, allow me to "give direction" about the birds and bees.
Honey, here's the garbage. Would you "give direction" to it.
Sergeant, "give direction" to that mortar fire.
See Dick.
See Dick "give direction."
"Give direction," Dick, "give direction."

I wish he'd hurry it up already. I have to be away from my desk for the next several hours.

So they want to spend more millions of our money to possibly indict Rove? Boy the Dems must really have a strong case./ sarcasm on!
To: kcvl
When Rove finally gets to write about all this BS he will be a very rich man.
And the people who failed in trying to destroy him will still be bitter little crapheads.

CBS announcing Scooter Libby to be indicted. False Statements
To: kcvl
Yahoo keeps running headlines about the White house being worried about the indictments. There is never any proof of it in the story, just a headline. Nope, no bias trying to point guilt where there is none.

So this mountain-out-of-a-molehill story is going to drag on. Yawn.....
To: kcvl
This whole thing intensely angers me. The press has just distorted everything and is just flat out lying half the time.
To: kcvl
Let me engage in some wild positive speculation. Fitzgerald was simply using this GJ to get people on the record when they have their gaurd down believing it was the white house being investigated. He will convene a new GJ investigating whether there was a conspiracy in our Govt to remove a sitting president. Well just a thought, besides there certainly could be negative side to all that also.

I was just watching Imus. He seemed despondent over Rove not being indicted. Ditto for Russert who stressed Rove would still be under investigation, etc.

MSNBC;
Rove will not be indicted but will remain under investigation. Translation; The MSM will continue to harass Rove.

This indictment, if any, will be tossed before before it goes to trial. This is a plea charge in hopes Libby pleas to a lessor charge and protects Fitzgeralds batting record. If Libby proceeded or followed any testimony with a "to the best of my recollection" he walks as soon as a Federal Judge rules the testimony inadmissible.

Interesting that all the leaks that have been coming out of the grand jury so far have been wrong. Any leaks from a grand jury constitute a crime as serious as the reason for this grand jury.
As for the direction of the grand jury, could it be that he has gotten permission to investigate an attempt by some in the intelligence community to undermine the interests of the US for political purposes?
