IIRC Valerie was under(the)cover when she told Wilson she was with the CIA on their third date.

Yeah, I know. I must admit I am torqued with this out of control SP. He should be sacked before he gets way ahead of himself.

I thought I heard that WH lawyers (Rove's and Libby's) lawyers were leaking to get out ahead of the news...but what do I know - the whole thing stinks

You may be right about the lawyers leaking, but if Libby has been indicted, I don't think his lawyers knew it as a fact before hand, and I'm not sure if he would be advised before it was public. I guess maybe they could have notified Rove he wasn't being indicted, and Libby got no such call.

Former CIA operative Bob Baer saying, among other things, it goes back to Novak -- disregarding the CIA's admonishment NOT to publish her name. It sure will be interesting to read his take on this ... and his rationalization for doing what he did.

Larry Johnson has said repeatedly there was a terrible security breach here. Perhaps Fitzgerald disagrees with him. From Bob Woodward's remarks last night on Larry King, it appears that Woodward does.

Chrissy's goal last night was to implicate Cheney as well as Rove. He failed miserably on both counts.

EXCELLENT example, from Christopher Hitchens of all people, of why you should NOT trust the MSM:

"Thus, by any measure of accuracy, the "Sunni" turnout in the weekend's referendum on the constitution was impressively large, very well-organized, and quite strongly in favor of a "yes" vote. Is that the way you remember it being reported? I thought not. Well, then, learn to think for yourself."

Interesting that a former undercover CIA agent (Bob Baer??) is on Fox saying a democrat on the hill blew his cover to a reporter back in the 90's, he complained to the CIA and they said no big deal, it happens all the time.

If the local TV coverage in my location (SF Bay Area) is any indication, then people outside of Wash.,DC really don't care about this story. I've been flipping channels for the last 1 1/2 hours, and there's been almost no coverage of this story on the five local TV stations (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and independent) which are all running newscasts.

I don't want to hear one more word about how this guy doesn't leak.

I'm frankly sick of the sainthood bestowed upon him. He looks like part of the MOB not someone who prosecutes them.

The SP asked Rove, as I posted days ago, not to divulge his testimony as it was Jermain to the on going investigation. I think that there is a undercover investigation in the CIA about all we've been posting about.

Huh?? ... where did you hear that?

Right after Rove testified the 4th time in front of the GJ

STATEMENT FROM ROBERT LUSKIN, KARL ROVE'S LAWYER [Byron York]
"The Special Counsel has advised Mr. Rove that he has made no decision about whether or not to bring charges and that Mr. Rove’s status has not changed. Mr. Rove will continue to cooperate fully with the Special Counsel’s efforts to complete the investigation. We are confident that when the Special Counsel finishes his work, he will conclude that Mr. Rove has done nothing wrong."

CNN has announced that Libby will be indited today.

And that Rove is still in "jeopardy"...

What a bunch of crap.
