Fitz is NOT saying that Plame was or was not COVERT when Libby outed her. Libby is not being charged with this. So, the CIA is not allowed to tell what her status was? Interesting.

If he does not even know this basic question, WHY THE REST OF THE INVESTIGATION? FIND THE ANSWER TO THE BASIC QUESTION! GET THE INFO! The CIA is really pissing me off here more than anything else. If she was outed, it MATTERS whether she was COVERT or not. If she was covert, crime. If she was not covert, no crime. The CIA should be MADE to answer this simple question.

It's interesting that Fitzgerald continued to call her Valerie Wilson but within the CIA she was Valarie Plame. Did the prosecutor ask Libby if he discussed Plame or Wilson because that could explain the who knew what and who told what when.

From everything I've read, the idea that Fitz is pursuing this as an avenue towards an end goal of impeachment is ridiculous. What I said was that it is possible that Fitz may have lost some perspective, not you, but upon reflection, perhaps you have also. I don't know.
