It sounds to me like Scooter was trying to avoid saying "The CIA told me his wife is an agent."
To: huck von finn
They have been awaiting this day.

Andrea Mitchel, who works for MSNBC, said that it was common knowledge that valerie worked at CIA DiGenova said Wilson commonly introduced VPlame at cocktail parties as "my CIA wife".

Nepolitano -- they would show up at DC functions and Wilson would introduce his wife as my CIA agent wife... BEFORE Novak's column. So who lied to Fitzgerald about that?!!!

NO good will EVER come from playing nice with the other side. They are the ENEMY. Time to wake up and smell the coffee. Let's hope the WH gets it now.

I imagine you were right about them breaking in. I went to get my haircut and then had to take my neighbor to a dialysis appointment, and just got back. One interesting thing I heard was the radio reporter referring to "Vice President Scooter Libby." LOL! They were SO hoping for someone bigger, weren't they?

Novak swore at James Carville on live television, pushed his chair back and walked off the set.
So CNN either suspended him indefinitely or he was fired; I don't remember.
And again, it's a different set of rules. Because I've heard Carvile swear on television and nothing happens. Nothing.

From what I read the report myself, it does not look good. It's all about statements before the GJ not reporters.
To: Howlin
basically .. the charge is proof the President lied to get us into a war
I'm looking for the actual statement .. but I don't see it on line yet

Which it essentially is since there will be a new grand jury empaneled. Has that been confirmed or hearsay?
To: AmishDude
But it seems that he isn't even being indicted for lying to the jury. Let me repeat: It seems...I can't get past the fact this investigation has gone on for 2 years, and it's come down to indicting the VP Chief of Staff, of all people. My gut feeling tells me the SP is covering for the Democrats, Plame, and Wilson with this lame indictment, because this was not what this investigation entailed. The central theme of this investigation was "who outted Plame?"

Fitz has shown his democrat allegiance. I suspected as much, but this is proof.
Mo1, I hope Fitz is not Catholic.
