I agree. If the details of the indictments as described in the released documents are BS as others are saying, then he's politically motivated and he'll probably fling more of his poop at Rove and perhaps even Cheney. Whatever... my opinion of him as a fair prosecuter has gone out the window.
Further, here it comes everyone, this is all about the war in Iraq for the Dems.

I just finished reading the charges as outlined on THE SMOKING GUN (link provided within this thread).
The charges center around the fact that Libby was saying that when he talked about Wilson's wife, he always attributed it to a fact learned from other reporters. In fact, Libby was advised by multiple administration sources (not Cheyeny)that Wilson's wife worked for the CIA and was involved in sending Joe Wilson to Niger.
Libby told investigators that he did not know if the story about Wilson's wife was true since it was coming from reporters. In fact, he did know since it came from Administration people and from personnel within the CIA.
Thanks. For some reason I thought he said that on Meet The Press...now that I think of it, it was Cheney who said he did not know WIlson on MTP.

A friend of ours is retired from the CIA. They lived overseas for years and he was covert. When his kids got older and the parents more concerned about their education, they returned to the US and lived in Virginia.
His status was changed to classified, a less protected status than covert.
Is there any daggone word on whether the GJ has been extended, or a new one is going to continue. This is a major question. Is Fitzgerald done filing charges, or are more possible?
