You might believe that, but Libertarians have a demonstrable trackrecord of untrustworthiness.

No, they don't.

Like Miss Miers, they pretty much have no track record, since they only get elected to dog catcher or city council.

Moderates have a demonstrable track record of untrustworthiness. See: Voinovich, et. al.

Janice Rogers Brown has support...ACROSS THE BOARD!

From every segment of the right.

I can't emphasize this highly enough.

Fiscal conservatives, populists, libertarians, Objectivists, social conservatives, property rights activists, textualists, "Constitution in exile" scholars, Roman Catholics, evangelicals, civil libertarians, ad infinitum.

I posted a poll on Protest Warrior gauging the sentiment of that website's users, where they were offered eight alternatives to Harriet Miers.

JRB garnered over ninety percent of the vote.

She's a uniter, not a divider.

Nuff said.

Never seen anything from JRB that I've disagreed with. That being said, no political hack (Republican or Democrat) is going to nominate a SCOTUS Justice that could overturn their social programs or find the laws they advocated unconstitutional.

Libertarians as a party, may have a few out of mainstream views (i.e. drugs) but I'm about to the point I'd trust a Libertarian in office than I would a Republican

So have Republicans. Not only are they untrustworthy, but also unreliable (current US Senate/House/White House).
