The Miers nomination was an anomaly and is unlikey to occur again. NONE of the potential nominees have been scared away by what happened to Harriet Miers, LOL! If anything was going to frighten away nominees it is the possibility of the kind of Liberal attacks backed by the MSM upon Bork and Clarence Thomas.

You never have been able to get it through your head you are not the only conservative. We have secular, Catholic, and Evengelical conservatives. We have won the elections in the past because we united in our hatred against the liberal values. That anger towards liberal values remains, but I don't think the unity is there now. Just read the number of dissensions, and you will start to see the picture.
