LS has made a decision based on evidence, not on what a list of pundits said. That seems fair to me.

Most of you have already made up your minds and have been busy unearthing whatever supports your position. Big difference.

If "most of you" is a reference to the gung-ho-kill-em-all pro-Miers crowd, then that is certainly correct.

I will say this until I am blue in the face: This is not an issue of her personal beliefs; it isn't about her being nice, a woman, whatever. What is under consideration is whether or not she has the qualifications and ergo requisite knowledge of the Constitution and jurisprudence to serve on the highest court in the land--for life.

Her record thus far emphatically says "NO!"

So what is your position? No change after reviewing the evidence?

Yes, there is a big difference. I put myself in LS's camp for the reasons that he has. I'm a lawyer and had to deal with the nonsense about glass ceilings and all of that, BUT, even though I was a dem at the time, I saw affirmative action as dumb and destructive and I could not have been more opposed to IOLTA. I would never have supported bringing Gloria Steinam to speak to anyone. I've just had it with this wishy-washy woman. Bleh!

No, we were very disappointed. We watched the evidence unfold, and unlike with John Roberts, the evidence was d*mning. Every little bit added more & more to our disappointment until I/we believed that it was more likely she was liberal than not.

LOL. I guess when Harry Reid gave his stamp of approval, it was a red flag.

Oh please. From the start it was obvious she is no Scalia or Thomas. I also dislike the steath good ol gal nonsense. I'm sorry if those of us who make quick and accurate judgements offend your tender feelings.
