Give up? Did we give up when the Nazis bombed Pearl Harbor? NEVER!! Remember the Alamo, you Texans!
To: Bulldaddy
yes I did! LOL I love the smell of(what happened?) in the morning LOL

Baggy about came out of his shoes on that one swing-and-a-miss.

I hope this game is over soon. I'm going for a cholesterol test tomorrow morning and have to fast for 8 hours beforehand.
At least they'll get a "real life" test result on me. Let's see, bacon and eggs for breakfast, hot dogs for lunch, pastrami and cheese for dinner, topped off by a pint of ice cream for the White Sox.
I've earned my Zocor.

Remember the Alamo, you Texans! I do - we all died. But there was that one small battle near Houston called San Jacinto. Hang in there, 'Stros.

But there was that one small battle near Houston called San Jacinto. Now, if the Sox would take a nap we'd be in good shape.

Am so glad someone is voicing what Ive been thinking about Houston sports for so long...as a Houston native, I have this bafflement of other cities fascination with their teams...Im so used to Houston teams choking up that any interest I might have had was siphoned away long ago.
From someone who remembers the Luv Ya Blue days...

Hey, you guys ARE the champions of the National League! There are 15 teams that wish they were in your place! No matter what, this has been a great year for the Astros. And this game ain't over yet.
(It's easy to be magnanimous when your team is about to go up 3-0.)
To: benjaminjjones
Me, too. I've got an early doctor appointment tomorrow. My anxiety should be over by then....but dragging myself out of bed is another matter.
Hang in there, Soxies!

See ya' tomorrow, everybody. "She-who-must-be-obeyed", a/k/a Mrs. Bulldaddy, wants some couch time, and is even willing to pretend she's interested in the WS if I'll watch the rest of the game in the other room with her.
And yes Charles, it is easy to be magnanimous at this precise moment in time. LOL

I'm very proud of the Astros. They've had a great year and I've been a fan for as long as I can remember. IT ain't over till it's over.
