"Some crybaby will be up shortly moaning about the umps."
Inning 5 is all White Sox. They're playing extremely well this inning. And I'm rooting for the Astros. I'll ALWAYS give credit when/where credit is due.

Intentional? You really think Oswalt wants to load the bases?

I want a few more runs so Garland can go inside in the bottom of the inning.

Yes, the Black Sox do appear to be the better team in this series. Which makes it even more lame how much they are crying and moaning in the dugout after being pampered by the league.

Because MLB took over......years back the teams ran their own site.
I went to the Expos board on mlb.com right before they moved and became the Nationals, it was disgusting.

Intentional? You really think Oswalt wants to load the bases? No, I think he didn't want to give Credy a chance to knock one out of the park and is hoping to get a strike out................. Or a pop-out........on the next batter.

Oswalt's done with 97 pitches and a terrible 5th inning.
I'm guessing we'll see Astacio next inning.

Yeah, we are hicks, but the first word spoken on the moon sure wasn't "Chicago"!!

I am having a hard time watching Oswalt in this inning. I can't help but think of Mark Prior in the 8th inning of 2003 the NLCS. He ran out of gas and the Marlins crushed him.
At least the Astros are only down by a run and have several opportunities to come back. The bats are looking pretty good tonight.

Charles, where the heck are ya! I was watching the game here in St. Louis at a local eating establishment/watering hole, where there were a bunch of Chicagoans cheering for the Sox. I was with my family, and my 9-year-old daughter said she would watch the game with me on the couch at home. But since then, she has faded and gone to bed. Now I have no one to watch the game with--EXCEPT YOU GUYS!
GO SOX!
Of course now I have a place here in town to watch the game in person with other Chicagoans, so I may do that tomorrow FOR THE CLINCHER!!!!
To: sharkhawk
"All right everyone, I'm the one who can't let things go?"
Your recent (albeit delayed) admission that the ball hit the bat was paramount. Since you've agreed with Dye (right) and not the umpire (wrong), you've thereby embraced fact vs. error. Your self-correction is to be admired.
