Wahhhh. Gosh, I swear i haven't heard such whining since last November. The umpires made a bad call, never mind that the count would have been 3 and 2 still and the next pitch was hit into the seats. Mean old Bud Selig is picking on the Astros and making us close our roof, forget the fact that MLB did the same thing to the Dbacks in '01.

"The umpires (have) made bad
calls (PLURAL)"
These ump's have been terrible since the begining of the Sox / Angels face off.

As far as I can tell you're the only person that's whining.

Call the Wahmbulance, I am sick of it. The Stros picked up a couple of bad calls in the NLCS also. It happens, bad calls are part of the game. Dyes HBP would have been forgotten if Konerko hadn't come up with a Grand Slam on the next pitch.

If instant replay had been used this season, the series (most likely -- can't say with certainty, of course) would be 1-1 right now instead of 2-0.

Look at jdms' post right above yours. Read the roof closing thread, it's full of Astros fan whining about baseball being played outdoors. Life ain't always fair, get used to it.

I 100% agree!! All I hear is, "Sox get the call" Quit your bitchin...just play ball!!

"Call the Wahmbulance, I am sick of it."
I'm not whining, just stating the facts. The White Sox player did NOT get hit by that pitch on Sunday night, yet he was awarded a walk which loaded the bases.

Looks like it's going to be a fast game tonight. I can get to bed early so I can be up for all the indictments tomorrow.

Absolutely ridiculous that Bud Selig made the Astros open the roof. What???? Why?

And it was a 3-2 count and your pitcher was wild. Get over it, enjoy this game and hope the Astros keep getting key hits in the series.

Just play ball, despite terrible calls, of which the consequences are critical, imperative to a team's success/failure? Riiiiiiiiight.

Fine, maybe you don't, but anyone who is still complaining about a call two days ago, and about big bad Bud Selig is.

"And it was a 3-2 count and your pitcher was wild."
The pitch was high and in -- hardly wild. I mean, the batter fouled the ball. I can't think of too many occurrences where a wild pitch resulted in a foul ball.
