Today President Bush addressed the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington D.C., voicing his administration's support of the troops, and his commitment to the War on Terror and specifically the mission in Iraq. He later met with the President of the Iraqi Regional Government of Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani, in the Oval Office of the White House. I highly recommend reading President Barzani's comments about our courageous President.
You can also read the entire powerful speech that the President made at the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon HERE .
The President will speak this evening at the 30th Anniversary of the RNC Eagles.
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!
You are probably correct, I was going by everyone referring to the poster as 'She"
I flew back via Dallas, so I was in the great state of Texas for about thirty minutes, that is. :)
I wasn't in a window seat unfortunately, but I'm pretty sure we flew over Midland, which was as close as I've ever come to where the President and First Lady were raised. (I could see those Salt Lakes from the plane).
I've driven through the panhandle on I-40, and have flown into Ft. Worth (we almost moved there years ago), but I've never spent much time in the Lone Star State.
(It's kinda brown from the air. ;)
Whoever it was, he/she/it had 'issues.' LOL!
We almost never get snow. Columbia does more often than my hometown though. It's just cold and gray most of the time.
Ignore what Yahoo says. Just look at the pictures.
Hi!
I just read the speech on another thread. I thought it was great.
The person who posted it immediately posted a negative comment. That person had not read the entire speech and missed an important section about border problems.
Talk about a knee jerk reaction. He had to immediately retract, but then defend his original statement ... by complaining about problems in ARizona. It was pretty funny.
Wow, you were here? We could have met you somewhere for a quick lunch at one of SoCal's great lunch places! Next time you have to let us know so we can get together! It would be so much fun!
I was too angry to respond to that moron, Laura Bush has more class in her bent pinky, that that A-hole has in his entire dung filled body
Not good to have a cold in the fall though.............or the winter, or the spring, or the summer..........
We've got relatives in Columbia..........they moved from the snow belt of Indiana, and they LOVE it there. They're used to 38" at a time! :)
That's not really Yahoo's fault, The loony left has bombarded every search engine with their childish games
But think of the wonderful excuse to watch tv all day!
I have a ton of 24's I need to watch, but never have time.
I was so shocked about it the other day. Now I wonder if they've always had such stupid "Also try" suggestions. I'll try to do as you suggest and just look at the pics.
I still miss having my daughter around all the time and she's been married 7 years. Duh!
It is rather silly when you think about it. I just went to the full list of search suggestions. Rather amusing.
I was there for about 48 hours and hadn't seen daughter for 3 months. We walked around Seaport Village, by the Midway, around Balboa Park and went out to eat in Old Town.
Had a great time, but none to spare. Maybe next time I'll be around a little longer and we can meet somewhere.....
Looked like mostly everyone was just mocking him/her/it........which was fitting, considering what he/she/it wrote about Laura.
Did you notice my new (old) tag line?
Juanita Broderick and Kathleen Willey will be visiting the Clinton Trailer Park museum tomorrow to try to get some publicity about his abuse to women and how Hillary was a co-conspirator. I heard Juanita on Hannity and she is a wonderful speaker; very literate and convincing.
I had a button that said "I believe Juanita." back in '97 that I wore to some Free Republic get togethers.
This mothering stuff is hard sometimes........
