Today President Bush addressed the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington D.C., voicing his administration's support of the troops, and his commitment to the War on Terror and specifically the mission in Iraq. He later met with the President of the Iraqi Regional Government of Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani, in the Oval Office of the White House. I highly recommend reading President Barzani's comments about our courageous President.
You can also read the entire powerful speech that the President made at the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon HERE .
The President will speak this evening at the 30th Anniversary of the RNC Eagles.
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!
Am I first? Lol jk
I saw the looks on the women's faces, though, and they were VERY excited by his being there, and by what he was saying.
I LOVE this graph. Thank you.
Thanks for the wonderful dose tonight as well. (And happy anniversary to the President and first Lady.)
I hope all is well with you two.
Drop in as much as you can!
Well, you're first on the page that starts with 101. :)
Evening snugs...
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!
A little scare about the San Diego airport since I was JUST there..........but finding out it was a toy and a cookie was quite a relief. ;)
WELCOME BACK!!
I certainly hope you're letting Mike spoil you rotten!!!!
Glad you're on the road to recovery.
Hang in there! Prayers for you as always.
Exactly! They don't look old enough to go off without us. Over and over I reminded her it wasn't too late to stay home with me and go to the community college. And the last few days at home did you fill her ears with all those things you always meant to teach her and repeat all the stranger danger warnings? Mine kept going "Mom, chill, I'm not stupid", lol.
Doing very well . . . I've got more comparative polling data that I'll share toward the end of the week!
Hey lady!!!! Glad to see you back!!!!
Because it is easier to be on the wrong side and have people forget (again, and again, and again) then to have to admit they were wrong in the first place.
That is the only consistent thing that comes from the press. The belief that nobody else ever admits to their mistakes...and that they themselves never actually make any mistakes.
I really, really dislike the press. Not the concept of the press mind you, but the way it has been done for the last 40 years or so.
Fine here thanks been a bit of a rainy windy day but it is October after all so we should expect that
Good Evening OWF, and all the Dosers
Glad to see you Nancy, we have been praying for you, and your speedy recovery
Good evening Mike
I was looking to see if there were more photos of the officers' wives shindig, and the Yahoo search said to search for "George Bush drinking" for more results. The other day I ran "Condi Rice", and it said, "Also try Condoleezza Rice lesbian". This is really outrageous!!!!
Hi snugs
LOL. I'm just glad that I am neither the poor family with the toy and a cookie...or the security person lucky enough to "identify" it.
What a bind we put those poor people in.
I'm glad all is well.
I have to admit though...I think October and August are my least favorite months. So I'm glad it's almost November!
