Oh dear. I'll share my Reese's- my malted mlik bals are GONE.

Lost power for a bit- friend who works at Florida Hospital had to go in and dropped her dog off with me. She lost her roof in Charley and isn't taking any chances!

Very windy here in Central FL- still pouring rain and temp is in the low 60's.

On local news heard about a woman in Brevard - she was sleeping when her house was LIFTED up off the ground and plopped in the street - the mattress landed on top of her - saved her life.

Surprised how windy it is here.

Very, very weird to be watching a hurricane go by and it's cold outside.

Pulled on a long sleeved shirt here too.

The bumpkin neighbors left their full size trampoline out in the storm. It just now flipped and landed on their truck. :::rolling eyes:::

That is Duval Street. Not North Roosevelt across from the Wal-mart or is K-mart?

I'm guessing, from the relatively low thread posting traffic, that most of our FReepers in harm's way are out of power for the duration . . .

Sounds like you are fortunate enough to live upwind from them.

Oh no! Kind of want to laugh about that. THe first hurricane I ever went through I put "everything" inside -and- figured if a little tape on the windows was good then a lot of tape would be even better LOL. There were 1 inch squares of window to peer through, it was a mess to get off the next day once the sun came up.

One positive thing I'm seeing in the last couple of years is no tape on windows.
