Good morning. Here we go....
Time for those last minute preparations, I guess. Bring in the potted plants and the animals, remove the hanging bird feeders from the trees, secure the pink flamingos and lawn gnomes, charge up the cell phones and lanterns, break out the flashlights, board games and Halloween candy.... Have I forgotten anything?
At least we're cooling off--Tuesday's low is 60. The kids are already begging to break out the hot cocoa! Ahhh, who says there is no fall in Florida?

Have I forgotten anything? Take down the U.S. flag. Did that a little while ago.
Add extra chlorine to the pool...pink flamingos and lawn gnomes? LOL! I just have one alligator in the rose garden. Low profile, he stays where he is.

Howdy, y'all...
Taking a break, we have the vunerable sliding glass doors exposed to the SW boarded up. I may or not do one more set. So far I don't think anyone else in my West Boca neighborhood is out there. I hope I'm overreacting.... : )

I'm all set here...just have to slide my hurricane shutters over(they are the accordian type), bring in the bird feeder and arrange the back porch.......so will do it all this afternoon.
Also...remember to turn down your air conditioner as much as possible to keep it cooler longer in your house when the electric goes out...also turn up your freezer/refrig to High. It's only supposed to be gusts of 80-90mph....and it's moving fast.
The said the tornado risk is HIGH...due to the cold air moving in.....so that may be the worst of it.
