Rep. Kirt Weldon is on Michael Savage's radio program, and he is implying Rumsfeld is the one blocking further investigation into Able Danger.
Weldon is fuming; says he personally (in a committee hearing) asked Rumsfeld about the investigation being blocked. Rumsfeld replied that he would 'get back to Weldon with a response.' Weldon says he still has gotten nothing from Rumsfeld.
Weldon to give a speech in a few moments this evening on the floor of the House. It should be aired on CSPAN this evening.

Looks like all is pointing to Klintoon administration, how they neglected to act on Atta informationa and led to 9/11. The whole 911 commission was farce trying to blame Bush, now they are trying to destroy Schaeffer.
Weldon is offering to resign if this is not going to be resolved.
Weldon deserves a ton of respect for what he saying.
Wow---saying he will leave Congress if necessary...but wants to stay to make sure this is taken care of.
Is it possible the guy at Defense that is spreading false rumors about Schaeffer ISN'T known by Rummy...and Rummy is unknowing about this???
I pray so...I have been a hugh Rummy fan...but, this is too important NOT to find out the truth.

Able Danger was a data mining operation run out of DoD using open sources (meaning nothing was confidential and they didn't use government software to gather the information).
Able Danger identified the Atta cell in Brooklyn one year before 9/11, but nothing happened with the information. Lawyers in Clinton's Justice Department and Defense Department shut it down, it's assumed, but there is a major crunch on to keep the guys from testifying.
The revelations by Congressman Weldon tonight are among the most important that have happened on the floor of the House of Representatives. This is major.

ABLE Danger folks are claiming that they requested that the Cole NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE HARBOR and they were ignored!
Weldon just said Able Danger knew the U.S. Cole was going to be bombed two days before the attack. But the warnings were not heeded.
It's the result of the corrupt, incompetent and traitorous Clinton Administration and it needs to be exposed. People need to be tried and prosecuted.

I think I need to write a letter and send it snail mail to Rumsfeld's office. I know he won't write back personally but I want someone to answer me why they are trying to ruin these men.
