My in-laws live in Venice. We spoke to them this morning and my father-in-law was packing for his hunting trip to CO. He's leaving tomorrow. My mother-in-law "has plenty of water and supplies." Their condo is on the beach and I'm not a happy camper about their "plans!" Grrrr!

Parents can be so stubborn, it's perplexing! Will keep your MIL in my prayers.

My mother also lives in Venice. We are trying to talk her into going north. She is 75, has an awful back. She has a good friend a few years older and not doing well at all - she is on oxygen. But they have other friends who tell them not to be concerned. Both my brother and my husband have offered to fly down there tomorrow and drive them north somewhere. She has supplies and a tank of gas, but not much water and won't go to the store because it will "be a mess". I thought I had her convinced earlier today to just leave. My brother said she told him that they didn't want them going up into Georgia.

Where are your inlaws? My mother lives in the Plantations.
