Of course it was an isolated incident; that's why the stadium security will be on "red alert" this week.
Boren's a buttboy for the Islamofascist muslimes.

As much as it hurts me to say it, how 'bout a "Don't let your kids go to OU so long as Boren's in charge" ping?

I asked the same questions very early on. If it's "just a suicide".... and "there's no evidence" he tried to enter the stadium...

 Why the additional cameras...?

 Why no more halftime passes...??

Why the additional security as all remaining games...???
To: OKSooner
Are they worried about terrorist or the Baylor Football team?

"Investigators say the blast was an isolated incident."

Who do they think they are fooling? That's an insult to any reasonable person's intelligence.

    Well, that's weird.
Do they think another depressed loner who has no ties to Islam might try to commit suicide outside the stadium, while having no intent to harm others?

I wish I could get mine out of there... but he's about done..

What several of us have done though is give the phone banks that call us parents and alums for donations the business and use Boren as the excuse to send them packing.

Actually, they are worried about the Baylor football team this year, but that's a different story.

We are left to wonder either 1)If this has been a lone suicide then why has the response has been to dramatically tighten security. or 2) wonder about the incompetence to begin with if such security measures should have been there all along, but weren't.

    Thank for the ping indcons.

I hope they keep Joy and Lady in Waco for the game.

I tell you what. Definitely no concern nationally....

Went to the Ohio State vs. Michigan State game. No increase in security at all. Heck, FR is the only place I have heard this entire story at all.

    Thanks for the ping!

All this over an "isolated incident" - yeah... right...

Kudos to them for actually creating an evac plan vs. PADLOCKING everyone inside like they did before...

My son is in the OSU marching band. I drove him to the stadium where he had to be at 5:00 am for the noon kickoff. Every band member has to go through a checkpoint where they are scanned, their instrument case is searched and all items they bring in (ie drinks, snack ... etc) are searched. It's like an airport. However, I think this is since 9-11 and not neccessarily from the OU incident from a couple of weeks ago.

That is pretty interesting about the band members going through security.

OSU is relatively strict about the fans in and around the stadium. I have never gone to a game before 9-11, so I'm not sure what things were like before.

Go Bucks!!!

Alumni money, or lack thereof, is the quickest way to get a college to listen.

That's because OSU already had more security then we had. Gate 7's security was a joke at best on that Saturday -- everyone I talked to in our section said the same thing -- purses/bags were not checked.

I am all for more security.

Note to all: This OSU is The Ohio State University not Oklahoma State or Oregon State. There is only ONE true OSU and that is in Columbus, Ohio. Former Buckeye here who now supports the Sooners.
