By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later.

All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Funny you ask...Surfer Boy says that the Panthers said there were 1.8 million people, but in reality, at best there were 25 thousand.
They had to share the Mall with the Solar Decathlon.

Being in Alabama, I know. The devastation in MS didn't get nearly the attention it deserved. The bottom third of the state was hammered. I don't know what highways are opened now.

Friends of mine that drive home frequently to Baton Rouge from AL, still had to fly home this last time.

Barbour needs to run for president.

High praise for Governor Barbour for his handling of the Katrina disaster. While we had the NO dog and pony show going on in LA, All forms of govt. in MS including and starting with the Governor showed great courage and a plan to make things better for the citizens of their state. Well done Governor Barbour, and I'm waiting for your 08 announcement for POTUS so that I can start donating to your campaign.

Good morning. I like Haley for his sense of duty to those who "brung" him to the governorship. Georgians are fortunate, for he will get the job done. (Blanco could learn from him, but she's too busy crying, whining, and asking for money.)

A number of universities designed solar powered houses, and then they were brought to Washington to be judged on their efficiency, design, and liveability. It's kind of neat.
