Today's Field Trip: Holloman AFB, New Mexico
If you have a suggestion for a Field Trip - maybe a place where YOU have been stationed and would like to re-visit - PLEASE Freepmail it to starcmc!! Thanks!
Please remember: the Canteen is a place to honor and entertain our troops. As such we attempt to keep it MOSTLY apolitical. Thanks for playing and have a nice day! LOL!!! |

Well my cloudy turned into a pretty good little storm. Yippee!
I had to shut down a couple of hours ago just to be safe. I can hear some rumbles in the distance. If this keeps up I'll never get my Canteen reading done. That's ok...I'm loving it!
Jinx looks like Tempe will be getting some soon if not already. I'll try to send it your way Luv!

To be honest, I like your version better than Roosevelt's. It is always wiser to speak softly and use the big stick when needed.

...looks like Tempe will be getting some soon Oh, they did alright! Piper didn't like the noise at all, she asked her Mommy to call Daddy and to tell him to make the thunder stop! He said he couldn't, so Piper asked Mommy to call Poppa so Piper would feel better.
She and I talked for a minute, and after I asked her if she'd be okay, she said "Yes" and hung up! Mommy wasn't done talking. Oh well!

Good evening Canteeners and Troops!
Good evening Ma!
It's good to be here!
When I was driving home tonight..I crested a hill..
and there was a truck in MY lane!
AIYEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
We nearly collided head on...
Moxie's tires went onto the soft shoulder..
I stepped in the clutch so as to take her out of front wheel drive...wrestled her back onto the road..
Guess the fool had passed another car on a hill!!!
After I pried my fingers off the steering wheel, and told him all about his family tree, I felt much better.
I will not however, be able to wear THAT particular pair of jeans again...
I'm in for abit..
Hugs alla round!
