Thanks for posting this - it is a prime example of what WWII would have been like with today's press corps. D-Day? Horrific!

Hahaha.....biting satire.

Sad but very funny. Leftists can't wait to surrender and be beheaded just to score points and would blame Bush for that outcome too.

Great find for Satire and to Expose the Left for what they are; anit-American, America hating, cowards. I guess the best term for them is Quislings. May they all meet the same fate as the original Quisling.

In a not-so-funny aside, our regional newspaper refers to WWII veterans as "survivors."

You could make this a full time job, rewriting WWII through the eyes and mindset of today's MSM.
Think of the possibilities;
- Starting with the 1st landing in Africa (Operation Torch) where the French opened fire on us.
- Kasserine Pass, - which was a debacle. [ we should have surrendered then :-) ]
- Anzio
- D-Day ; Oh the humanity!
- Operation Market Garden - which was a disaster, thanks Monty
- The Battle of the Bulge - all due to failed (completely lacking) Allied intelligence of the German build up.
- Then all the losses we had in the Pacific Theater, like the Philippines.
- Wake Island
- Burma
- The Japs occupying islands in ALASKA
Then there was the lousy equipment, the MSM today would be having kittens!
- The 1st version of the Mustang sucked, the engine was under-powered --- BOONDOGGLE!
- The P-38; never did work 'right' in Europe but later performed great in the Pacific
- The Jeep - it had NO ARMOR! (heavens to Betsy)
- The Sherman Tank; under gunned and under armored. (it really was a death trap)
- The M1 Garand - cost waaay too much per unit
- Thompson sub machine gun - same thing, unit cost excessive
- M-1 Carbine - 'unsafe' rifle, caliber too small
Sheesh, now that I look at it, how did we win???

Serious questions need to be answered.
After Pearl Harbor, why did we attack Guadalcanal, Burma, parts of China, and the Phillipines instead of concentrating our forces on an invasion of Japan?
When Germany declared war on the US, why did we attack North Africa and France instead of a massive invasion of Germany itself?
Inquiring minds want to know! (Sarcasm off)

As I recall, only his untimely death kept FDR from being impeached over that one. Didn't Truman direct the Navy to investigate that terrible "put up job"?
