On KFOR channel 4,sorry no links, was live, tonight they are talking about a funeral protest by some "Bapist" people from Kansas protesting at a Marine's funeral. These people are calling our fallen hero's fag's ect,,,it really burns my ass that they can do this. Freedom of speech should be reserved for human beings. Comments?????

A couple groups here just countered them at a soldier's funeral in Yakima, WA. This is a family cult who call themselves Baptists. The Baptist church has disavowed any ties with this group. This "Baptist" group is well known. It's a sect - not a church group - they have simply hijacked the name "Baptist" - but they have no relation to any Baptist I ever knew.

They are dispicable. Too bad there isn't some way to have advance notice so this scum could be greeted by FReepers.

Nope. This guy's been going at this for quite a long time. His specialty is protesting funerals, apparently. Most recently of note are those of Ronald Reagan and William Rehnquist.

You will find more than a few Freepers who think this guy is a plant meant solely to discredit and damage the causes of social conservatives. I don't know about explicitly proving that, but this guy sure has a lot of strange bedfellows.

He's got a paper trail a mile long on here, too. A search for keyword FREDPHELPS yields some truly bizarre stuff.

Don't sweat the spelling stuff, by the way. I probably mess up more stuff in an hour than you'll mess up in a decade. Oh, sure, there's the ribbing part (they've given up on me!), but if we get the point, it's really all water under the bridge.
