Nope. This guy's been going at this for quite a long time. His specialty is protesting funerals, apparently. Most recently of note are those of Ronald Reagan and William Rehnquist.
You will find more than a few Freepers who think this guy is a plant meant solely to discredit and damage the causes of social conservatives. I don't know about explicitly proving that, but this guy sure has a lot of strange bedfellows.
He's got a paper trail a mile long on here, too. A search for keyword FREDPHELPS yields some truly bizarre stuff.
Don't sweat the spelling stuff, by the way. I probably mess up more stuff in an hour than you'll mess up in a decade. Oh, sure, there's the ribbing part (they've given up on me!), but if we get the point, it's really all water under the bridge.
