I gather your kids don't go to school east of city line avenue. If you go to a public school on the Main Line, where the black student population is no more than 10-20% and most blacks are as wealthy as the whites, I can believe you.
Perhaps, but I doubt it. For the most part, you will see blacks with blacks, whites with whites, and Hispanics with Hispanics. This is a general statement which does not hold true in all cases.
I'm presuming you are referring to the parents, one of whom is a Brooklyn native. Well, they may be both insane and stupid.
However, these mistakes don't excuse the New York City Neanderthals who physically and verbally abused their children.
Could be. I've seen some mighty light high caste Hindus. Where do you think the Aryans came from?
I FReepmailed you a more detailed response of why I said what I did because I concluded that it might get pulled if I posted it here. It is somewhat politically incorrect.
For reasons that are somewhat muddled, I was recently in the High School of Fashion and Design (or whatever it's called) in Manhattan, which is a public school. I saw no self-segregating.
I agree with you on that one.
Yes she did, the NYC school system.
Well, seems to me that it has been done before. Somehow I don't think it would happen in this case.
The results of "wanting them to experience diversity". Guess that ain't such a good idea!
Even middle class black folks send their kids to private or charter schools.
This is very true. In most cases, it is to a private school that is ran by a church.
I live in Philly proper. My son went to the same high school I graduated from which in 1972 was 95% white, now it's about 40% white. Most of the trouble in the schools here are black on black, asian on asian, etc. It's mostly gang related.
Oh, here we go...
It half true. I hear just as much stories about the opposite from black kids. It depends on who you ask because racism is a very subjective experience.
The father is an idiot who should have known better. The mother is an idiot, who should have sensed something wrong. The kids get to feel the pain.
There are three things that NYC does not treat kindly:
A)Weakness
B)Stupidity
C)Mediocrity
lol! That'll do it!
Brooklyn? Couldn't they have chose a better slum? The parents need to be charged for intentionally putting their kids in danger. It's the parents who apparently need an education.
bump
Well, if they weren't racist when they arrived, they will be before they leave.
STUPID LIBERAL... that is redundant.
Don't know much about Brooklyn, do you?
My son came out of that school system (which sucks)very unbigoted, for which I am greatful.
