OU SUICIDE BOMBER: Jayna Davis radio schedule; Jayna names the reporter kissing up to Muslims
phone call with Jayna | 10-6-05 | dfu

THE THIRD TERRORIST

Jayna Davis is coming up shortly on the Mark Davis show in Dallas to discuss the OU suicide bomber. Here are some appearances:

MARK DAVIS, WBAP in Dallas -- 10:05am Central (soon)

Rusty Humphries -- tonight, 8:35pm Central

KTSU, San Antonio -- 7:20pm tonight

David Gold, syndicated -- 4pm Saturday

Jayna also just gave me the name of Terri Watkins. She is a reporter who roundly criticized Jayna's work on the Iraqi connection to the OKC bombing. She is on KOCO, Channel 5 in Oklahoma. She is now kissing up to the Muslims because we are blaming them.

Just a suggestion. Jayna wondered if the FReepers might want to send a few emails to Terri.

She doesn't seem to report. She "emotes." And opinionizes.

IMO: Davis is a supercilious motor mouth; his show is about him while his guests just servers for his ham handed power stroke, I'm a "journalist" - from his college course of study (maybe a bachelors) and his weekly column in a local paper, Ft. Worth's I think.

After a while, I couldn't stand Davis' silly blather and stern caller putdowns; his "he can't help himself" fast talking rudeness is similar to Hannity's ME, ME, ME interuptions.

Constitutional talk radio broadcasts our common message for Liberty's survival, but many of the talking mouths from Limbaugh way down have their ego/narcissistic issues which muddy the message to preserve our Constitutional Republic to enhance their self-promotions. Even reality talking Bill Bennet milks his crass cow.

I've watched Ms. Watkins "reports" on this whole thing. The first one I saw from her was with the students that ran down to video the scene. I didn't like her attitude at the time, and she's kept the same sarcastic look, tone of voice, and posturing throughout all her reports. At the very least she is not an "unbiased" reporter.

Geesh... even without sound (or perhaps MORE apparent without) her expressions and such just make my stomach turn. How do "reporters" like this get and/or keep their jobs?

That's a scary thought. IF it indeed matches can be used to spread disease it would make sense why someone wanting to do so would drop them there - playing on American's penchant for picking up "souveniers" even of gruesome events. I find it hard to believe that the FBI would have left matches at the scene, which leads me to believe someone else dropped them there. Even if they were "leftovers" from smokers as some suggested I think the investigators would have taken every scrap of everything they found there into evidence. IMHO someone indeed dropped them there after the bench was replaced. Hopefully it's something stupid, or meant to cause fear and not an actual threat.

Apologies if this question was asked previously;

Are there security cameras around the stadium?

I agree. Davis is still popular here in DFW but I find him to be really grating.

Norman Police Investigated Hinrichs
by Ryan Welton, Managing Editor

POSTED: 10:05 am CDT October 6, 2005
UPDATED: 3:02 pm CDT October 6, 2005

NORMAN, Okla. -- Norman police confirmed Thursday that they ran a routine investigation of a 21-year-old University of Oklahoma student who blew himself up on campus Saturday night.

At a 2 p.m. news conference, Norman Police Department spokesman J.D. Younger said an off-duty, plainclothes officer overheard a conversation Joel Henry Hinrichs III had with the proprietor of a Norman feed store last Thursday at 4 p.m. The conversation centered on a purchase of ammonium nitrate fertilizer.

"I think it's important to note that it's not a criminal activity to purchase ammonium nitrate fertilizer," Younger said.

However, he noted that the context of Hinrichs' conversation with a manager of Ellison Feed & Seed was suspicious. Younger indicated that the off-duty officer reported that Hinrichs asked about different types of fertilizer and the concentration of ammonium nitrate in each.

Ammonium nitrate was the primary ingredient in the bomb that killed 168 people in the explosion that brought down the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Builsing in Oklahoma City in 1995.

The officer, according to Younger, took a mental note of the conversation and its context, and then followed Hinrichs outside. The officer took down the student's license tag number, contacted Norman's police department dispatch operation, had Hinrichs checked for outstanding warrants -- but, alas, found nothing.

The officer continued his investigation Thursday night, but could only conclude that Hinrichs was an OU student and lived in university-subsidized housing. The officer did contact a Norman bomb squad technician; however, the plan at that time was for the off-duty officer to complete a written report for submission the following Monday.

Hinrichs died when a bomb he allegedly created exploded as he sat on a bench next to the George Lynn Cross Hall, about 100 yards from Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, where about 84,000 people were watching the Sooners play Kansas State in a college football game.

When asked whether or not the officer could have done something to prevent the explosion, Younger said the off-duty officer actually went "above and beyond" the call of duty to act as he did.

"I think we're fortunate to have an employee go that far," Younger said. "We don't know what would have happened if the officer hadn't been there."

If Hinrichs had not died Saturday night, the Norman officer -- according to Younger -- would have filed the written statement, which would have eventually been submitted to federal authorities. The lead investigative agency in the Hinrichs case is the FBI; however, Younger noted the Norman police department would help as needed and requested.

"I feel confident that we're doing what needs to be done," he said.

Younger had no other comments as to other aspects of the case.

I don't understand... I'm a Muslim in America, but I don't understand what it is you have aginst Muslims in general. I know that there are extremists out there, but our religion is supposed to be peaceful, in much the same way as Christianity. I feel the urge to point out that Christianity has a history of violence as well, what with the crusades and all. Anyway, I'm a big fan of the USA, and I really enjoy learning about the history of the frontier. I think it's unwise to pigeonhole people according to religion. I completely disagree with any forms of violence at all - I am a pacifist. I am also disappointed by your flippant remark about towing away a mosque. I suppose I'll be condemned for saying what I have, but I just can't see how anyone could find it controversial. Thanks.

We, the AMERICAN PEOPLE, might start having some positive attitude toward the Muslims in general, when YOU START protesting in the streets, by the hundreds of thousands...screaming at the tops of your collective lungs...

"NO MORE TERRORISM"..."NO MORE Bin Ladins"...."USA, USA, USA"...then, every Muzzie Leader in the world will PAY BACK the USA all the money we've spent in your craphole countries...and finally, BinLaden will be handed over to the US Military...dead or alive...

Simple, start STANDING UP AND DENOUNCE TERRORISM...but your believers won't because they are sheep, pale and weak.

Welcome to FreeRepublic. There are over 20 major conflicts around the world. Who is causing the trouble? I'll answer -- ISLAMISTS. No, not all Muslims are terrorists. But you know what, we are damned tired of heads being cut off and innocents being bombed. I can't speak for hundreds of years ago, but right now my Catholic church is not the ones cutting off heads. I am also not responsible for slavery.

You would not have the problem you have if Muslims everywhere would stand up against the terrorists and end the carnage. But all we see is weak bull**** statements. It is not good enough.

The towing away the mosque remark will not be withdrawn. It is at some schools and mosques where terrorists are planning to kill us. They need to clean up their act. They need to purge themselves of terrorist elements. They need to stand up and be counted. No half measures. We are in a war and the so-called religion of peace is not going to win it.

Tell your fellow Muslims to end it. Do it clearly and loudly. When that happens, we welcome you.

He had massive cache of explosives that took 24 hours to remove.

I believe it was so much that they though it might take 24 hours to remove, but in reality it took only a few hours.

No, PKM....I have no idea about what the matches mean. Did Hinrichs have the matches with him? This is truly a confusing little detail.

I thought there were since we had closed circuit TV in the concession areas. That said, I heard on the radio that OU is installing them in the stadium which means they didn't have enough or we didn't have any. I am thinking we didn't have any since they won't put them in the parking garage because some group on campus objected. Think they had better rethink the parking garages as well. I have told my kids to never park in those garages at night.
