If she's the one, I have a problem with her association with the Tx. lotto comm. I'm pretty sure the lotto has been a major scam as far as how the proceeds were used. It was suppose to benefit education, however the money never seems to be there.

I agree. I just can't associate that with social conservatism no matter how hard I try to stretch it.

Whenever states vote in lotteries, they always say it will benefit education and it never does (hate using "always" and "never," but in the case of lotto...).

Texas did have a lotto problem/investigation although I can't recall the specifics right now...wonder if Miers was on the end that was the problem or on the end that tried to clean it up.
