Talked to a reporter today and they have the feeling they are not getting ALL the facts.
Pretty soon it really didn't happen and all of us are somehow dreaming! We just imagined that the Feds took over the investigation and evacuated part of a campus apartment complex and searched it. We are just imagining the whole incident -- it never happened. It was a tiny pipe bomb that caused the stadium to shake which just happens to be concrete.
We had the same deal here about Berg and Moussouri (sp) so I am used to it -- I reported what we heard last night but this thread all of a sudden turned into nothing happened, move on -- lone nutcase.
"It was a tiny pipe bomb that caused the stadium to shake which just happens to be concrete."
They're going to have a hard time hiding the hole that a bomb capable of rattling the stadium would make.
Wow! 2280 and counting! Talk about a busy thread! Have any been higher?
When did this ever stop a reporter though? If anything, this seems to be what eggs reporters on.
Strange unless the Feds have some kind of hyper effective way of shutting down the media when they really want to...even CNN.
Maybe in Oklahoma this method is iron-clad because of 92.
Do you feel like a Stepford wife? I'm beginning to feel like living in Oklahoma is like living in Stepford.
Has anyone been able to have a look at the crater left by the bomb yet? Any aerial shots?
Is there a crater from the bomb?
Generally the suicide bombings in Iraq leave rather big craters. The explosion of the size and strength you describe would have left a noticable crater.
Well we love you anyway
Sounds like something that happened in the USSR back in the 60's.
I srongly believe there are more facts to this story than being reported. How Boren can make the statement that no one in the stadium was ever at risk is just stupid. Going back to April 19, there has been a radical islam pressence in Oklahoma. Perhaps the most important "coincidence" concerning Moussaoui is his connection to convicted felon Melvin Lattimore, a convert to Islam who now goes by the name Majahid Abdulquaadir Menepta. Menepta was a member of a militant mosque in St. Louis and is now a member of a radical mosque in Norman, where he says he saw Moussaoui on a daily basis. According to Oklahoma news accounts, Menepta and Moussaoui were roommates in Norman, while Moussaoui attended flight school. Meneptas roommate, Al-Attas, drove Moussaoui from Oklahoma to Minnesota to begin flight school there. When Al-Attas was arrested, Menepta drove to Minnesota and posted $5,000 bail for his release.
When Menepta and Al-Attas returned to Norman on August 21, 2001, more than three weeks before 9-11, agents from the Oklahoma City FBI office knocked on their apartment door. According to the agents, several men fled the apartment and exited the building before the agents could react. Also, according to FBI documents, 9-11 hijacker Salem Al-Hazmi was seen in Meneptas Norman apartment in April 2001.
